About Pauline
I am a French native speaker, and I’ve been living in the UK for 8 years. I came here after university, thinking my English was good. It was only during my first real interaction that I realised it was going to be tough. I was scared to speak and make mistakes — I didn’t feel like myself in English.
But then I pushed myself to talk to people, and that’s what unlocked everything. I made mistakes, but no one cared, and my English improved exponentially.
That’s why I want to teach French today. I want to give French learners the chance to have authentic exchanges with a native speaker, and to learn practical French that will actually help them in France!
