About Annabel
Hi! I’m a first-year French student at the University of Edinburgh with a love for languages and helping others learn. I’ve always enjoyed how learning a new language opens up different ways of thinking and connecting with people. I've started tutoring because I know from experience that school French can sometimes feel confusing or stressful - and I want to help students navigate that. I enjoy creating a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence step by step.

I use a mix of speaking practice, listening activities, grammar support, and vocabulary building to create a well-rounded learning experience. Whether you're preparing for exams or just starting out, we’ll focus on developing real confidence in using French. I’m always happy to explain things in different ways, set personalised exercises, and encourage students to ask questions. Having recently been through the school system myself, I know what works and how to keep things engaging and effective.
