About Peter
Hi there, My name is Peter and I am a first year French student at Trinity. I am very passionate about language learning and linguistics in general. I speak fluent Irish, French and have conversational Italian. I am from a gaeltacht area so the Irish came to me fairly naturally, but to learn French and Italian I took on my own approach in TY and have found it far better than the traditional one presented in schools in Ireland.

I know what it's like to have a bad teacher in school, and how frustrating it can be to make progress in French. I set about in TY to create my own learning plan which helped me achieve almost 99% of the marks in my French leaving certificate.
