As a French tutor, my approach to teaching revolves around creating an engaging and immersive learning experience tailored to the individual needs and goals of each student.
- I prioritise active communication in French during lessons to enhance language proficiency. This includes engaging in conversation, role-playing, and real-life scenarios to reinforce language usage.
- I utilise a variety of resources such as videos, podcasts, articles, and interactive online platforms to cater to different learning styles and keep lessons dynamic.
- While flexibility is key, I also follow a structured curriculum that progresses systematically from foundational concepts to more advanced topics, ensuring comprehensive understanding and skill development.
- Regular feedback sessions and ample opportunities for practice are integrated into lessons to identify areas for improvement and reinforce learning.
My typical lesson duration is 45 minutes. This allows sufficient time for meaningful interaction, practice activities, and feedback without overwhelming the student.
I am currently studying French language and literature at one of the highest ranked universities, and have also lived in France last year which improved my comprehension of the language. Additionally, I have several years of experience tutoring students of various ages and proficiency levels, both privately and in group settings. My experience includes working with beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students, as well as preparing individuals for language proficiency exams.
