About Sydney
I’m a soon-to-be graduate from the State University of New York in Geneseo with a BA in French. I have studied French literature, civilization, grammar, and phonology for over ten years. I have two years of experience offering one-on-one tutoring sessions. I spent three months living and studying in Montpellier, France.

My teaching approach is to prioritize the student’s personal goals. I base my classes on whether a student seeks to improve accuracy, fluency, or overall comprehension and command of the language. I approach each topic by making the content as relevant and digestible as possible. I believe in supporting and encouraging students by providing clear, constructive feedback.
