About Pauline
I've been teaching French for over 30 years in Irish secondary schools. I've also been working as a French oral and written examiner for many years with the State Examinations Commission. I have an MA in French and a comprehensive knowledge of both the Junior Cycle and Senior Cycle curriculum. I help students develop confidence in speaking French and develop strategies to successfully complete the written French exam paper.

I focus on examination preparation in the four areas of Oral French, Reading Comprehension, Written Expression and Listening Comprehension. I provide students with expert help based on a detailed analysis of their needs. Oral preparation begins early to ensure the students are confident speakers in the oral exam. My many years of experience as both an oral and written examiner with the State Examinations Commission ensures that my tuition is targeted and relevant. Detailed explanation of grammar helps students form a strong foundation for both oral and written expression. Key strategies are taught to help improve reading and listening comprehension.
