Mara has a deep and thorough mastery of her native language, as well as French. She particularly excels in highlighting the subtleties, language registers, and usages, while also being able to adapt to the specific needs of her students. Her lessons consist of two distinct parts: the first focuses on a specific grammar point, accompanied by exercises designed to clarify understanding; the second is dedicated to oral expression and exchanges, which Mara encourages through active practice. At the end of each lesson, she provides a summary document, which is greatly appreciated (in fact, my partner, who is of Italian origin and takes evening Italian classes with a university professor, often "borrows" Mara's lessons!). With her patience and generosity, Mara helps her students gain confidence, an essential element for progress, especially when confidence is lacking. This kind and supportive approach creates a learning environment conducive to progress and makes her lessons especially enjoyable.
