About Isabella

I’m a curious person who loves languages, literature, travel and getting to know different cultures. Over the past five years, I’ve travelled around the world and lived in different places, which has given me the chance to use languages in real life situations and meet people from many different backgrounds.

I know from experience that learning a language is about much more than grammar and vocabulary, it’s about feeling confident enough to actually use it!! That’s why I try to make my lessons relaxed, practical and enjoyable, while still giving you the structure and guidance you need to make real progress.

I’m patient, approachable and genuinely interested in getting to know my students and their goals. I believe every student learns differently, so I always try to make my lessons feel personal and relevant to the person in front of me.

Whether you are starting from scratch or looking to improve your French, I’ll be happy to help you along the way!! :)

About the lesson

My aim is to help you feel comfortable using French and become more confident communicating in real-life situations. Our French lessons are personalised and adapted to each student's level, goals and interests.

I like to keep my lessons practical and interactive, combining conversation, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, listening and reading. We can focus on whatever you need most, whether that is preparing for a trip, improving your conversation skills, building a strong foundation in French or simply getting to know the language and culture better.

I believe that making mistakes is a natural part of learning a language!! My classes are a friendly and supportive space where you can ask questions, practise without fear and learn at your own pace. I will always adapt the lessons to what works best for you.

Lessons usually last 60 minutes and are taught online. I like to use a variety of materials, including authentic texts, videos, music and cultural content, so that you can experience French beyond textbooks and grammar exercises.

I have a degree in French Language and Literature and experience teaching languages to students from different backgrounds and levels. Over the last five years, I have also travelled extensively around the world and had the opportunity to communicate in French in different countries and with people from different French-speaking backgrounds. This gave me the chance to experience different varieties of French and see how the language is actually used in different cultural and social contexts.

My lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults, from complete beginners (A1) to intermediate learners (B1-B2).

Whether you are learning French for travel, work, study, personal interest or simply because you love the language and culture, I would love to help you make French a part of your life and feel more confident using it!!
