About Alix
Teaching has always been a pleasure and a passion to me. I have over 30 years of experience as a teacher and thought not only French as a foreign language but also latin, French and Haitian literatures. I am also a certified French proofreader and translator.

My primary goal is to create an engaging, personalized learning experience that caters to each student's needs and goals. I emphasize practical language use in everyday situations, so I encourage students to speak from the very start, even if they make mistakes. With a thematic approach based on pronunciation, reading and comprehension, writing and listening to immerse students in the language.
My lessons go beyond grammar and vocabulary, incorporating French culture, history and customs.
I teach students from beginner (A1) to advanced learners (C2), students preparing for exams or French classses as well as professionals looking to improve their French for careers opportunities or relocation.
