About Freya
I am a second-year university student currently studying Doctor of Medicine on the Gold Coast, splitting my time between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Alongside my studies, I have a strong passion for languages and enjoy helping others build confidence in French.
Outside of academics, I am a big Formula 1 fan and love keeping up with races and drivers. I also enjoy reading about muscle cars and JDM cars, especially the engineering and history behind them.
I bring a friendly, patient, and supportive approach to tutoring, and I enjoy connecting with students while helping them achieve their goals.

I am a passionate French tutor with a strong academic and practical foundation in the language, backed by over 5 years of experience studying and speaking French. I was awarded a Certificate of Excellence in French in high school, where I topped my class.
To further develop my fluency, I participated in a family exchange program in Normandy, France, where I lived with a local family and attended a French school for three months. This immersive experience helped me refine my pronunciation and build confidence in real-world communication.
I also have over 2 years of experience tutoring students in my local community, helping learners build confidence and achieve strong results in their studies.
As a result of my dedication and training, I achieved a High Distinction in the DELF B2 certification. I aim to make learning French engaging, practical, fun, and tailored to each student’s goals, whether it’s improving conversational skills, excelling in school, or preparing for exams.

I find Freya to be really easy to learn with. She takes a genuine interest in my progress and makes sure I’m improving each lesson, not just going through the motions.
