About Lydia Penelope
I have studied French privately for 60 years. Because of my studies at La Sorbonne in Paris, I am fluent in French with a Parisian accent. I have a CT French Certification 018 to teach all ages. I have been teaching and tutoring French at Greenwich High School for two years after retiring from teaching English for 20 years.

My teaching goal is to maintain a personal approach to every individual no matter what age. I believe in encouraging self-confidence in both oral and written French. My technique is to teach lively interactive sessions so that my students feel comfortable and happy knowing practice makes perfect with the exactitude of French pronunciation.
