About Javier

Hello! My name is Javier, and I am a native French speaker currently studying at the Université de Montréal. With a strong background in languages and cultures, I have a deep understanding of the French language and its cultural context. I’ve spent my entire life in Montréal, which has given me a unique insight into both formal and informal French, and I use this knowledge to help students from various backgrounds improve their language skills. I'm ready to give a supportive, and engaging learning experience. Rest assured, I take great care in maintaining professionalism in every lesson, and I am committed to your success as a French learner. I look forward to working with you!

About the lesson

As a native French speaker and current student at the Université de Montréal, I specialize in teaching French to learners who are either just starting out or have reached a more advanced level. My goal is to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment where students can feel confident in improving their language skills. I focus on practical language use, whether it’s for day-to-day conversations or more formal situations like preparing for permanent residency. My teaching method includes interactive activities, conversations, and writing exercises, with an emphasis on building strong foundational skills. I also have advanced writing abilities and can help students with more complex writing tasks, such as essays of over 1000 words, ensuring clarity and structure. A typical lesson with me might involve reviewing vocabulary and grammar, followed by writing practice or conversational drills. I believe that language learning should be enjoyable and approachable, so I adapt my lessons to meet each student’s individual needs. While I don’t have a formal degree in French or teaching, I bring a personal understanding of the language and culture, and I’m committed to helping you improve at your own pace. Whether you’re just beginning or looking to refine your skills, I’d love to work with you!
