About Laurie

I hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in French Language and Culture, and I have 7 years of experience teaching French to students of different levels. My interest in French started with a passion for languages and culture, which later developed into teaching. Over the years, I have helped many students improve their skills and confidence through structured lessons.

My teaching approach focuses on patience, clarity, and steady progress. I believe that students learn best when lessons are simple and easy to understand. I use clear explanations, practical examples, and regular practice to help students improve gradually. I also encourage students to participate actively and stay engaged.

Outside of teaching, I continue learning about language methods and improving my own skills. This helps me bring new ideas into my lessons. Teaching French is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students communicate confidently and learn a new language.

About the lesson

French lessons become more effective when students practice regularly in a supportive and simple learning environment. My lessons focus on improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through clear explanations and structured activities. I introduce vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation step by step so students can understand easily and apply what they learn. Each lesson includes conversation practice, listening exercises, and guided tasks that support steady progress. I create a friendly atmosphere where students feel comfortable learning and speaking.

Beginners start with basic vocabulary, simple phrases, and pronunciation practice. Intermediate learners focus on grammar, reading comprehension, and improving fluency. Advanced students work on expressing ideas clearly, understanding complex content, and communicating confidently. I adjust lessons based on each student’s level and provide regular feedback to support improvement.

Learning French helps students develop communication skills, confidence, and cultural understanding. As students improve, they feel more comfortable using the language in real situations. My goal is to make French learning simple, enjoyable, and meaningful so students stay motivated.
