About Gaelle
I am a French tutor and PhD student at UC Irvine, and I specialize in helping students quickly improve their performance in French, especially before exams and at the end of the school year.
I work with high school and college students who need support with finals, AP French, homework, grammar, and speaking confidence. My approach is structured and focused on results, so students can make clear progress in a short amount of time.
I create personalized lessons based on each student’s needs, whether that means reviewing key grammar points, practicing conversation, or preparing for specific assignments and exams. My goal is to help students feel more confident and perform better in class within a few weeks, not months.
As a PhD student, I bring organization, clarity, and professionalism to every session. I explain concepts in a simple and practical way, and I make sure students understand how to apply what they learn.
I offer a supportive and focused learning environment where students can ask questions, improve step by step, and build real confidence in their French skills.

I offer structured and personalized French lessons designed to help students improve quickly and effectively, especially when preparing for exams or needing support before the end of the school year.
My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, and college students who need help with homework, grammar, pronunciation, conversation, or exam preparation (including finals and AP French).
Each session is focused and goal-oriented. A typical lesson includes:
• targeted review of key concepts
• clear explanations of grammar and structure
• guided practice and corrections
• exercises tailored to current class material or upcoming exams
I adapt every lesson to the student’s level and priorities so we can focus on what will make the biggest difference in the shortest amount of time.
