About Lia
Bonjour! I'm Lia, and I am a graduate from University College Cork. I have a degree in Law and French (dual major) from University College Cork. I spent 1 year on Erasmus in Lyon, France studying in university through French. I also have post-graduate experience teaching legal and business English to French legal professionals, so I have previous experience and skill in tutoring language classes between English and French. I am offering tutoring through French as I would love to help others gain confidence and explore the French language.
I understand from experience that learning a language can be challenging (and at times intimidating), so I would like to be able to work with you to build up your French language skills across grammar, vocabulary, written, spoken and aural French practice.
I work at a pace that is comfortable for you and can adapt lessons to your preferred learning style. Whether you are preparing for exams or are keen to maintain your language skills, we will work as a team to achieve your learning goals. These classes are suitable for any students looking to keep up their language skills over the summer break, looking to gain confidence through French, or looking to take a more simple approach to French language (trust me, it can be difficult!). I can adapt classes depending on Junior/Leaving Cycle, and we will move at a speed that you are comfortable with.
Class duration can range from 30 minutes to 1hr.
