About Alyssa
I am a fluent French speaker based in North London with a strong interest in languages and communication. French is my second language, and I use it confidently in both speaking and writing.
I enjoy helping others learn and improve, especially by making lessons clear, simple, and easy to understand. I want to teach because I find it rewarding to support students as they build confidence and improve their skills over time.
I understand that learning a language can feel challenging at first, so I focus on creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable practising and making progress at their own pace.
My goal is to help students improve their French for school, exams, and real-life conversation in a way that feels practical and enjoyable.
In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym and reading!

I am a fluent French speaker based in North London, offering private French tutoring for students from beginner level through to GCSE preparation.
My lessons are focused on building confidence in speaking, improving pronunciation, strengthening grammar, and supporting school homework and exam preparation. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level and learning style, making sessions clear, structured, and easy to follow.
I understand that learning a language can feel challenging, so I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable practising and making progress without pressure.
I can help with:
- Speaking and conversation practice
- Grammar and vocabulary building
- GCSE French exam preparation (listening, reading, writing, speaking)
- Homework and school support
- Beginner French for younger students
Lessons can be held online or in person depending on location.
I have flexible availability throughout the week, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, as I am currently a student.
Whether a student is just starting French or preparing for exams, I focus on helping them improve steadily and gain real confidence in using the language.
Furthermore, I also speak Russian and German so I am able to communicate in those languages, however I am not fluent in either of these.
