About Ellis
My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation in French through speaking, writing, reading, and listening. I also include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural understanding to help students use French confidently in real-life and academic situations. Each lesson is designed to suit the student’s level, goals, and learning pace. Compassion and communication are at the heart of my teaching. I create a friendly and open environment where students feel comfortable learning and asking questions. I use creative techniques like role-plays, conversations, and storytelling to make lessons interactive and enjoyable. Accountability is a key part of my method. I set clear learning goals, track progress, and provide regular feedback to help students stay motivated. My aim is to make learning French effective, fun, and meaningful while preparing students for exams, travel, and everyday conversations.

I am a passionate French tutor with 8 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I have successfully guided 150–200 students to improve their fluency, confidence, and understanding of the French language.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and engagement. I focus on developing speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills while making lessons interactive and enjoyable. I use real-life examples, conversations, and creative activities to help students connect with the language naturally.
