About Thibaut

Bonjour !

My name is Thibaut I’m a native French speaker from Paris, currently living in Dublin.

I have a French Baccalauréat Littéraire and a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema, and I trained as an actor at a respected acting school in Paris.

I am primarily an artist: I work as an actor, singer-songwriter and composer, and I also write stage plays and screenplays. Language, storytelling and expression are therefore at the heart of what I do.

My literary and artistic background allows me to offer more than conversation practice. I can help you develop your spoken French, pronunciation and confidence, but also your writing, vocabulary, style and ability to express ideas clearly and naturally in French.

As an actor, I am particularly interested in voice, pronunciation and communication. As a writer, I pay close attention to words, rhythm, nuances and the way a sentence can be made more natural, precise or expressive.

Whether you are learning French for everyday life, travel, work, culture, conversation or simply because you love the language, I will adapt the lessons to you and your interests.

My goal is to create relaxed and fun lessons where you can practice real French with a native Parisian speaker.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to your level, your goals and your interests.

I focus especially on helping students speak French more naturally and confidently through conversation, pronunciation work and real-life situations.

Thanks to my background as an actor, I can also help you with speaking skills, expression, rhythm and pronunciation. And as a songwriter and writer of stage plays and screenplays, I can support students who want to improve their written French, vocabulary, style or creative writing.
