About Tyler
Bonjour ! I’m a dedicated and friendly French tutor with a passion for helping students grow in confidence and ability. Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My teaching style is clear, structured, and encouraging. I focus on real communication and practical skills, while also making sure you understand the grammar and vocabulary behind the language. I adapt every lesson to your level, goals, and learning pace, so you always feel supported and never overwhelmed. Each session includes speaking, listening, and interactive activities to keep learning engaging and effective. I also offer regular feedback to help you track your progress and stay motivated. I’ve helped students of all ages and backgrounds—school pupils preparing for exams, adults learning for travel or work, and anyone who simply loves the French language. My Approach as a French Tutor
1. How I Teach
I keep things clear, fun, and practical. I focus on building confidence—starting with the basics and slowly adding more. I use conversation, games, short readings, and listening exercises to make the language come to life. I also mix in grammar and vocabulary naturally, without making it feel too heavy.
2. A Typical Lesson
Each lesson usually includes:
A quick warm-up (like a short conversation or review)
A main focus (grammar point, theme, or real-life situation)
Practice (speaking, listening, or reading activities)
A short wrap-up with what we learned and a small goal for next time
3. What Makes Me Different
I adapt to each student’s pace and interests. Whether someone wants to pass a class, travel with more ease, or just enjoy the language, I shape lessons to fit their needs. I also make sure students feel safe making mistakes—that’s how you learn!
