About Beth
My name is Beth and I am from the UK! I have two younger sisters and a dog. I have always enjoyed teaching and my favorite part is seeing students enjoy my lessons and feeling more confident using English in everyday life. Alongside my teaching experience I have also worked supporting families experiencing homelessness, mainly with the teenagers from these families. This experience developed my ability to build strong relationships with young people from a variety of backgrounds. I understand that every student is different and I am confident in my ability to tailor lessons to students' needs and abilities so they can achieve their goals in learning English! :)

My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive environment where students aged 11-18 feel confident using English without a fear of making mistakes! I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, PGCE in Primary Education (QTS) and I have recently completed 120-hour TEFL Qualification. I find students learn most effectively when lessons are enjoyable, interactive and interesting to the students. My lessons range from 30 minutes to 1 hour long depending on the student's needs. I aim to build confidence and hope to encourage a genuine love of learning English!
