About Claire

I am an outgoing and sociable teacher with an open and vivacious personality. I take responsibility for my professional learning and development and I am committed to driving continuous improvement in my teaching in order to raise attainment and achievement in my classes. I have a proven ability to meet and exceed targets whilst inspiring my learners.

I am efficient, hardworking and willing to transfer my knowledge and skills to exceed expectations in any situation. Furthermore, I have excellent communication skills and a professional yet personable approach to teaching with the aim of creating confident and successful learners in a positive environment.

About the lesson

I believe to be a successful language teacher, the lessons need to be fun and engaging. I am always putting myself in the shoes of my learners, to ensure I am providing the most accessible way to achieve success in French and Spanish.

I think it is important to engage learners, find out what they are passionate about and provide meaningful structures.

My lessons are always differentiated to meet the level of the student, and I strive to approach topics from a creative angle.

Claire is a brilliant teacher. I had the honour to work with Claire for many years and I have only excellent things to say. Claire has been a mentor to me, sharing her curriculum plans, helping me build my lessons and develop my practice, and proving what is to be not only an amazing teacher but a great educator as well. All her students loved her ( and still do) because she is kind, fun and loving and she cares about them. Also, all the senior level students were successful for the national exams during all these years. Claire is one of those teachers you come across once in a great while. She is popular with students, families and colleagues.
I am lucky I know her and lucky every student who has her as their teacher. Therefore, for all these reasons, I strongly recommend her!
