About Kris
I'm Kris, a British-born English teacher with a genuine passion for helping adult learners communicate with clarity and confidence. I've been teaching English online since 2018, and over the years I've had the pleasure of working with hundreds of students from across Asia, Europe, and beyond - each with their own unique goals and learning journey.
I hold a TESOL certification and have extensive experience working across multiple professional teaching platforms, which means I bring structure, reliability, and a high standard of professionalism to every lesson. Teaching isn't just something I do - it's something I care deeply about.
Originally from the UK, I now live in Bali, Indonesia, which gives me a genuinely international perspective and a natural understanding of what it feels like to navigate life in a language that isn't your own. That experience makes me a more empathetic, patient, and encouraging teacher.
My approach is warm and supportive - I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes, because that's exactly how progress happens. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your fluency, I'll meet you where you are and help you move forward at a pace that suits you.
