About Joni

With 6 years of experience teaching French to high school and college students, I have successfully taught over 150 learners to achieve fluency, confidence, and academic success. My teaching philosophy revolves around personalised learning, ensuring each lesson is customised to the student’s goals, interests, and abilities.

I combine interactive lessons, conversation exercises, multimedia tools, and cultural insights to make learning engaging, practical, and meaningful. My unique skill lies in breaking down complex grammar and vocabulary into simple, memorable steps, allowing students to understand and apply concepts confidently.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching French is centred on real-world application and steady progress. I use practical case studies like booking hotels, giving presentations, workplace communication, academic discussions, and social interactions.

These real-life situations help students understand how French is used outside the classroom. I explain grammar clearly and connect it with practical exercises. Students are encouraged to solve communication challenges in French, which improves both fluency and confidence.

Motivation is very important in my classes. I create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking. Integrity guides my professional behaviour, and I maintain honesty, fairness, and respect in every session.

I am flexible and customise lessons based on student needs and learning pace. Along with French, I can also teach related subjects such as vocabulary development, pronunciation practice, writing skills, and exam strategies. My aim is to make French learning practical, engaging, and effective.
