About Jackson
I’m a singer, guitarist and songwriter with more than 25 years of experience playing, performing and writing music. I’ve played in bands, performed as a solo artist and continue to gig regularly, so I bring plenty of real live music experience to my teaching.
I run Timber Mill Music Studio from my cosy home studio in Southwater, offering relaxed, friendly lessons where the focus is on enjoying music and building confidence.

I teach guitar, singing and songwriting, working with beginners through to more experienced musicians. Lessons are tailored around what each person actually wants to achieve, whether that’s learning favourite songs, improving guitar or vocal technique, gaining confidence to perform, learning to write songs or simply finally giving music a go. I want lessons to feel encouraging and enjoyable, with students learning music they genuinely love and making progress at their own pace.
