About Zahra
I am a gap year student who understands how rigorous the A-level system can be and how school teachers typically are not able to cater to individual needs (often relying on students to teach them self). This is why I want to help students realise their full potential by not only helping with their understanding of content but teaching topic specific revision techniques.

Hi there! My name is Zahra
I am offering online Psychology a-level (aqa) classes. I achieved an A* mock and predicted grade and an A in the final exam. I went from Cs to A*s therefore I have first hand experience with successfully adapting to the tough A-level system.
I understand that the 'one size fits all' approach typically used for teaching in schools may not work for everyone - which is why I try to tailor my tuition based on the students needs and simplify the specification into manageable chunks (I sometimes do this by creating mind maps for the student to use as revision material). My method involves me testing the students recall to highlight areas of improvement then analysis of exam questions. I am happy to help with school work/ marking essays.
I believe that a teachers job is not just limited to teaching so I am happy to support the student in any way possible. This includes helping with UCAS applications/ personal statements. I got all 5 offers for biomedical science from Queen Marys, UCL, Kings College , Warwick and Aston so I am able to provide support with applying strategically to Russel Group / high tariff universities.
