About Hiromi
Hi there, I'm Hiromi! I'm a native Japanese speaker born and raised in Japan. Having lived in the U.S. for a long time, I understand both Japanese and American languages and cultures. With over 20 years of teaching experience in America, I ran a tutoring center in Michigan. I've taught Japanese, math, and science to more than 200 Japanese and bilingual children. I focus on explaining difficult topics in a clear and gentle way, tailored to each student's age, understanding, and learning style.

My lessons are perfect for those learning Japanese for the first time. You can learn everyday conversation, travel-related Japanese, pronunciation, natural expressions, hiragana, katakana, and basic kanji, all according to your preferences. If needed, I can explain in English, so even complete beginners can feel comfortable joining. Whether you want to enjoy conversations in Japanese, prepare for a trip to Japan, understand Japanese culture better, or build a foundation in reading and writing, you are more than welcome!
Let’s learn practical and fun Japanese together. I look forward to meeting you in our first lesson!
