About Mariafernanda

Hi! I’m a native Spanish speaker from Peru currently living in Brisbane and studying a Bachelor of Business at The University of Queensland.

Being a university student in Australia, I understand what it’s like to learn and communicate in a second language every day. This helps me explain Spanish in a clear, simple, and relatable way for English speakers.

I’m responsible, patient, and committed to helping my students feel confident and comfortable when learning. I focus on creating a positive environment where you’re not afraid to make mistakes and can improve naturally.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m a native Spanish speaker from Peru currently studying in Brisbane. I offer personalised Spanish lessons focused on helping you feel confident speaking from day one.

My teaching approach is practical and conversational. I like to adapt each lesson to your goals, whether you want to improve your speaking skills, prepare for exams, or simply learn Spanish for travel or fun. I combine vocabulary, grammar and real-life conversations so you can actually use the language, not just memorise it.

A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes. I usually start with a quick review, then introduce new content, and finish with speaking practice so you can apply what you learned.

I have experience helping friends and classmates learn Spanish, and I understand the challenges of learning a new language because I’m also studying in English. This helps me explain things in a simple and clear way.

My lessons are for beginners and intermediate students, as well as anyone who wants to improve their conversational Spanish. I’m friendly, patient, and I always try to make lessons enjoyable and comfortable.
