About Tamera
My name is Tamera and I live in a beautiful city called Durban which is in sunny South Africa. I love to read, listen to music and bake. I am also a lover of animals and I love to travel and explore the exciting outdoors. Furthermore, I am a friendly, bubbly and enthusiastic individual who enjoys meeting new people and learning and communicating with them about their cultures, backgrounds and their personalities. With my TEFL, TESOL and TEYL certification, I work with kids, teenagers and adults, young and old. I also have 5 years of teaching experience tutoring students locally in my community. I am a very patient and fun teacher so you do not have to be afraid to make mistakes during our lessons as that is part of the learning process. As an online English teacher, I feel that I will have the ability to positively influence a person. I enjoy meeting new people and learning and communicating with them about their cultures, backgrounds and their personalities. I also enjoy helping and giving advice to people who have problems. I am passionate about making an impactful change on someone and I would love to share my enthusiasm with the learners and help them with their difficulties with English on this platform.

I am a native English speaker. I can assist you with developing your communication, listening and writing skills as my lessons focus on enhancing your grammar, fluency, sentence construction, pronunciation, vocabulary and conversational English skills.
Anyone can learn a new language given sufficient time and dedication. With regards to my teaching methodology, I believe that every individual is different and therefore, this would apply to my teaching methods too. I do my best to ensure that all materials are created to suit each individuals needs, interests and goals.
