About Martina
With more than 5 years of piano teaching experience, I specialize in guiding college students to become confident and expressive musicians. My lessons are personalized and adapted to each student’s strengths and musical interests. I combine traditional piano training with innovative approaches like improvisation, modern music arrangements, and interactive sight-reading activities.
I focus on technique, rhythm, music theory, and performance preparation while encouraging creativity and self-expression. I believe learning piano should be enjoyable and inspiring. My aim is to help students improve steadily, gain confidence, and develop a deep appreciation for music.

My piano teaching approach combines creativity, mentorship, and accountability. I focus on helping students develop musical skills, confidence, and a love for music.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, exploring different music genres, and playing songs that students enjoy. Lessons are designed to be engaging and allow students to express themselves naturally.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I explain rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in clear, simple steps. Students learn to analyze their playing and improve independently.
Accountability is built through structured practice routines, goal setting, and regular feedback. This helps students stay focused, disciplined, and motivated.
Along with piano, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm training, keyboard skills, and basic composition to support complete musical development.
