About Mathieu
Hello, my name is Mathieu and I'm a friendly, passionate French National living in Isle of Dogs, London.
I am very passionate about French Culture, history, the French Language, helping others achieve their goals and I have a Masters Degree in Urban Planning.
I have a passion for Geography, Travel, Tennis, Etymology and anything French!
I love to teach, explain concepts, speak French and find great personal reward in helping others understand my culture.
I also speak Spanish so I can help you a little bit there too.
I am looking forward to meeting prospective students from all walks of life and all levels.
Whether you are a beginner or have a higher level of French, I would be most happy to chat to you about your goals and design a plan for your ongoing success.
I have an enhanced DBS check so you know your child/teen is safe.

I loved my sessions with Mathieu, he was always really professional but friendly too and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I was learning a bit of French to get by with my partner's parents who do not speak English.
I signed up for a course with the Institut Francais and they told me before I start I need to work on my conjugations. I contacted Mathieu and have been working with him to this day to look at more complex grammar and concepts.I thought I would just go for a couple of lessons but I have enjoyed Mathieu's style of teaching and company so much that I have continued lessons with him.
