About the lesson

In today’s software development world, APIs are often built before the user interface even exists. This means many testers begin their work at the API level, where the real logic and data flow of an application reside.

Whether you’re testing APIs directly or working on the frontend, having a solid understanding of API behaviour gives you a powerful advantage. It allows you to inspect and analyse web app behaviour more deeply, catch issues earlier, and communicate more effectively with developers.

With me as your tutor, you’ll learn software testing from the ground up, starting with foundational testing concepts and manual web testing, then advancing into API testing using Postman. You’ll gain real-world skills that will help you test smarter, faster, and more confidently across the entire application stack.

If you want to stand out as a tester who understands both API and web testing inside out, my beginner-friendly course is the perfect place to start. My teaching approach is grounded in hands-on learning. I’ll guide you through practical applications, breaking down testing complexities one test case at a time.

REQUIREMENTS / DETAILS
1. No prior knowledge of Software Testing or Software Development Lifecycle is required. We start from the basics.

2. Using Postman’s advanced features often requires writing scripts, but don’t worry, you will learn the essential scripting fundamentals needed to use Postman effectively, even if you have no prior coding experience.

3. Date/Time: Fridays 4 pm - 7 pm | Saturdays 10 am - 2 pm
