About Leeann

am a passionate and experienced piano teacher with a strong foundation in music education. I graduated with Grade 5 from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in London and have extensive teaching experience at the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). With over 20 years of playing and performing and more than 7 years of teaching, I have dedicated my career to helping students discover the transformative power of music.

I believe that music is a universal language that connects people across cultures and generations. My teaching journey has been shaped by a commitment to fostering confidence, creativity, and self-expression in every student. Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps or an advanced player refining your skills, I provide the guidance and support needed to help you achieve your musical goals.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students of all ages and skill levels, tailoring lessons to their unique needs and interests. My background allows me to specialize in a variety of genres, including Classical, Baroque, Romantic, and contemporary music, while also preparing students for Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) exams and recitals.

Teaching piano is more than a profession to me—it’s my passion and calling. I am dedicated to inspiring students to not only master the piano but to develop a lifelong love and appreciation for music.

Deadly! Leeann is both a kind and patient piano teacher who clearly has a passion for music. She takes the time to listen to her students, and target their areas of weakness. Although there are times when learning the theory and getting both my left and right hand to work together is frustrating Leeann is patient and takes the time to slow down and provide tips for improvement. She is also personable, and accommodating especially since I personally don't have a set work schedule. Overall, she is an excellent piano teacher!

I have know Leeann for a significant period of time as she led the choir in the church. She is really disciplined and takes charge of leading the choir in a very diligent way. She is very dedicated towards this profession as she can multitask at singing and playing the piano at the same time .
