About Abdul Rafeh
3rd Year BSc Computer Science student @ Aston University with over 4 years of hands-on programming experience. Currently interning at Kingsbury Digital, where I'm mentored by senior system architects building production-level applications. I've been exactly where you are - overwhelmed by tutorials that don't translate to real skills, stuck between heavy theory and actual employable projects. The frustration of knowing there's a path forward but having no one to show you the way. That's why I teach. I broke through the gap that stops most people, and now I'm pulling others through with me. In the past few months alone, I've mentored 2 fellow undergrads from complete beginners ("what's a variable?") to building enterprise-level web applications/ getting them up to speed with advanced Data Structure studies. I don't gatekeep. I don't sugarcoat. I show you exactly how modern software gets built in actual companies - the architectures, the patterns, the deployment pipelines that separate hobby coders from hirable developers. My approach: teach you to think like a developer and learn independently. That's the skill that actually matters. Whether you're going the traditional degree route or considering alternatives like CompTIA certifications, I'll get you coding at industry-level. No fluff. Just real progress.

Hands-on, project-based sessions designed to get you coding for real. Each lesson is tailored to YOUR level and goals. Whether you're absolute zero or stuck in tutorial loop, we start where you are and build from there. Lesson structures will be tailored to the student so hard to give one recurring model, however generally we'll... - Quickly recap and code review from last time, making sure any "homework" tasks are complete, working through difficult concepts. - Introduce new fundamental (and practical) concept, whether student is on theory (basics) or programming (advanced), following a working structure. - Build it together in real-time. You code, I guide, we debug together. - Apply it to YOUR actual project (web app, portfolio piece, etc.) No passive watching. You're in the driver's seat writing code every session. I explain the "why" behind industry patterns, show you how senior devs actually structure systems, and catch bad habits before they stick. We use real dev tools (Git, VS Code, deployment platforms) from day one - not dumbed-down "beginner" environments. Between sessions, you get clear tasks to practise independently. Next lesson, we review, troubleshoot, and level up.
