About Leonie
I hold a BA in sociology and political science from the Humboldt University of Berlin. I worked as a teaching assistant for German as a foreign language in an Armenian school for one year, was a tutor for high school students in English and German literature, tutored German for minors in Berlin refugee shelters and a refugee camp in Greece.

As I worked with people of very different backgrounds, skills and stakes , I can easily adapt to the needs of students. I usually use articles, songs, liteature and an interactive teaching methods . With students that need help to prepare for exams (such as teh DSD I or II or Goethe certificate) I stay close to the suggested material. When it comes to oral skills, I like to prepare material individually based on the interests of students. I believe that learning a language is the easiest in relaxed, patient and content related conversations .
