About Jastarn
I bring a blend of academic training, industry exposure, and voluntary teaching experiences that have shaped my ability to guide and mentor learners effectively. During my studies at NIPER, Raebareli (M.S. Pharmaceutics) and UIPS, Panjab University (B. Pharm.), I actively engaged in academic presentations, poster sessions, and peer-to-peer mentoring, which strengthened my teaching and communication skills. Additionally, my role as a class representative, sports secretary, and placement coordinator involved training, organizing sessions, and explaining concepts to groups of students—further refining my instructional abilities. Certifications I have undertaken multiple certification courses to support both my teaching and subject expertise. These include “Six Sigma Principles” (University System of Georgia), “How to Write and Publish a Scientific Paper” (École Polytechnique), “Drug Commercialization, Discovery & Development” (University of California San Diego), and “Verb Tenses and Passives” (University of California, Irvine). These certifications have enhanced both my technical knowledge and my ability to structure content clearly for learners. Teaching Methodology My teaching philosophy emphasizes clarity, interaction, and practical application. I integrate active learning strategies such as case studies, discussions, and real-world problem-solving. With my pharmaceutical and scientific background, I also focus on technology-enhanced learning, including data interpretation, simulation tools, and structured presentations. I believe in differentiated instruction—adapting lessons to diverse learning needs—and use continuous feedback as a tool for improvement. I have authored two peer-reviewed publications in international journals on drug delivery systems, reflecting my research and academic depth. Through this combination of education, certifications, industry experience, and active teaching/mentoring, I am equipped to contribute effectively as an educator and mentor.
