About Kae

Qualified graduate from Ruskin College, Oxford in Sociology and Political Economy graduate with half a decade of teaching GCSE and A-Level Sociology to AQA specification & A-Level Politics to EDEXCEL specification.

I teach full time Sociology and Politics at a West London further education college.

I am a passionate educator, with a wide variety of activities for each subject tailored to an individual students specific needs. I am keenly aware that students find the experience of A Level examinations particularly challenging since they have returned to a linear format. As such I can offer rigorous practise in exam technique, time management, how to structure exam answers, where to prioritise your effort and so on. Moreover, my teaching is geared as much towards improving the academic confidence of students as much as it is the achievement of grades.

My lessons have been judged to be outstanding by both OFSTED and internal college observations observations (last observed in m November 2022).

About the lesson

My teaching aims to identify where a learner’s strengths and limitations are, with robust yet manageable targets and engaging interactive lessons. Lessons will involve interactivity, Socratic questioning, plenaries, reflections, and independent work to complete between tutorial sessions. I thrive. building excellent rapport between myself, learners, and parents/guardians.
