I've been learning japanese from Nozomi-san for the last couple of months as a beginner. I've progressed really well and I'm able to read furigana faster. I really enjoyed all our lessons and I always look forward to it! She speaks japanese around half the time which I really appreciate as I start to get used to listening and talking in the language. I would highly recommend her if you plan to learn Nihongo especially as a beginner.

Nozomi is a great teacher. She willl speak Japanese throughout the lesson but always follows up with the English so that your always hearing the Japanese phrases and picking them up.

Everything is done at the level you are comfortable with and uses a mixture of learning materials focused for you to keep everything interesting.

Plenty of conversational practice with a focus on correct grammar and pronunciation. I particularly like the explanations on why something is said a certain way or why certain words or phases might be used over others

I would highly recommend Nozomi, she will give you the confidence to get speaking and learning and to come back for more!

I began learning Japanese in 2014, for my leaving cert in 2016. I left it for awhile and wanted to get back to it but using duolingo wasn't enough for me. I knew I needed to practice my oral and conversational japanese face to face. I can't stress enough how much I have learnt with Nozomi, and how much confidence I gained having someone native correct my grammar and suggest more native phrases!

Nozomi speaks japanese most of the time during the lesson, and you pick up the phrases each lesson. It is highly conversational. Nozomi also uses a nice mix of textbooks for examples and grammer, as well as notes she prepares for you based on your level. The classes are highly interactive and you cover topics that are of most interest to you (travel, hobbies, your job, and your routine), and I am always reminded that we can cover anything I want to cover and not follow a specific path.

I highly recommend Nozomi to anyone wanting to learn Japanese! I can see how much my japanese improved the last 3 months, and I am sure you will notice too.

Nozomi is my first Japanese teacher. She is an amazing teacher, super thorough who keeps the lesson interesting whilst keeping me wanting more. I can’t wait for the next one. Can’t recommend Nozomi highly enough.
