About Michael

I would like to make a difference into how learning happens for students especially students of a younger age. I really want to create a space where the voice of the student is heard in how they learn. I believe that it is important that students of all abilities can relate to the content that is presented to them to give them the best opportunity to achieve their full potential with their education.

About the lesson

I specialise in making learning and education fun. Through my many years of experience and years of teaching in Ireland and in the UAE I have learned to put the student at the centre of the learning and to ensure that the student is enjoying the experience of learning whatever content that is required.

I like to teach using methodology that engages the student and fills them with passion for the subject that they are learning. I use many different methodologies and know that one size doesn't fit all, especially in Education.

This can include games, challenges and many other ways to engage the students in learning. I like to be creative and also give the students autonomy over learning and how they might learn the subject material. I am looking forward to getting to know my students and developing a rapport with them which I believe is an important aspect of what makes a great and memorable teacher.

I like to engage with the students, learning what they like, so that I can appeal to their passions and give them the best opportunity to achieve their potential in all aspects of their lives.

My lessons are usually one hour long but can be tailored to the needs of my students. My students are usually students ranging between 4yrs and 12 years old.
