About Ailish
I am from Clare originally. I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Mary Immaculate College. As part of this course, I undertook placement in a Gaelscoil as a teaching assistant and worked as a cinnire in the Gaeltacht. Subsequently, I completed a Master of Education in UCC. I also undertook a Diploma in Creativity and Innovation in Education in UCD.
I have experience teaching in DEIS and non-DEIS settings, across mixed gender and single-sex schools.
I have also delivered a presentation in UCC on effective teaching methodologies in Junior Cycle Gaeilge and have worked with Oide supporting teacher professional learning and development.
