About Clémence
I used to tutor schoolchildren so I am keen to use more fun and interactive ways to teach French and I have a good idea of what works and what doesn't, especially for Beginners-Intermediate speakers.
I've lived in France for about 17 years so I also have in-depth knowledge of the culture, which I believe is useful to bring the language to life rather than simply teach grammar rules (and the many exceptions to the rules).

French is not an easy language to learn, especially for Native English speakers (who don't happen to know Latin!) so I try to tailor the lessons to the students so the learning process isn't so much of a chore. For instance, I incorporate videos, songs, poetry into the mix. We can also focus on certain areas if you'd rather know a lot about fashion or finance as you're about to move to France for work.
I can do classes for Beginners up to casual conversational meetups for those who have a good grasp of the language already.
