About Leah
Hi! My name is Leah and I’m from South Africa. I’m a friendly and patient English tutor who loves working with children. I spent a year as an au pair in the Netherlands where I helped my Dutch host kids practice and improve their English every day.
I understand what it feels like to learn a new language because I also studied Dutch while living there. This helps me support my students with patience and encouragement. I love helping children build confidence, improve their English skills, and enjoy learning in a fun and relaxed environment.

My lessons are fun, engaging, and designed to help children feel confident speaking English. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning at their own pace. During lessons we focus on vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading, and conversation through interactive activities and discussions.
I have experience helping children practice and improve their English, and I always adapt my lessons to each student’s level and learning style. My goal is to help young learners build confidence, improve fluency, and enjoy learning English.
