About Jalem
I am a passionate bachata dancer who loves helping others feel confident, comfortable, and connected on the dance floor. My teaching style is clear, patient, and encouraging, with a strong focus on strong fundamentals, musicality, and real partner connection. I create a supportive, judgment-free learning environment where students can learn at their own pace, ask questions freely, and enjoy the process. Whether you are completely new to dance or looking to improve your technique and flow, my goal is to help you feel confident dancing bachata both in class and in social settings.

My bachata lessons are structured, fun, and tailored to each student’s experience level and goals. We begin with strong fundamentals and build gradually, focusing on technique, timing, and musicality in a clear, step-by-step way. I emphasize real lead-and-follow skills and connection so students feel comfortable dancing with others, not just memorizing steps. Lessons move at a comfortable pace, with plenty of repetition, feedback, and encouragement to help students gain confidence and enjoy the learning process.
