About Stephanie
I graduated from University with a degree in English with Creative Writing, then gained a top grade in the Cambridge CELTA qualification in London, where I was immediately offered my first teaching job.
Later I moved to Madrid in Spain, where I taught a very wide variety of different types of students and classes all over the city.
I have taught in state schools, private academies, one-to-one in students' homes and also in many different business settings, such as for Universal Music Spain, the national postal service and privately for CEOs of major investment banks and companies, to name just a few examples. I have also taught KET and PET as well as Cambridge First Certificate and Advanced Certificate exam preparation classes.
I understand how it feels to learn another language - during my time living and teaching in Madrid, I learnt Spanish to a good level and loved immersing myself in the culture there, whilst navigating the challenges that come with living in a new country and learning the language!

Hello! I use a student-centred method in our lessons. This means you will learn fast, improve quickly and build lots of confidence in your language ability.
I tailor your lessons to suit exactly what YOU want and need! Whether that's General English, Business English, Conversation Skills, Writing - or maybe a combination of lots of areas - I'll create lessons that are uniquely for YOU.
I am fun, friendly, personable and creative in my approach to teaching. We will build a good relationship which will help your learning.
Importantly, I promise you we will always have FUN - even when learning grammar! You'll WANT to come to your next lesson and you'll enjoy the process.
Lessons are 1 hour long and we will meet on Zoom OR in person if preferred and if you’re within my travel distance (to be discussed upon enquiry).
My students have ranged from 4 years old to 84, so whoever you are and whatever you need, you are welcome to come and learn with me.

Deadly! Stephanie is a fantastic teacher. She is able to teach English to a child with no prior knowledge of English making the whole learning process fun. Her classes are very well prepared and organised and they are extremely effective too!
