About Laura
- Working with pupils in the lower sets across KS3 and KS4 supporting tasks on a 1:1 basis.
- Providing TA support to pupils, including scribing and ensuring lesson objectives were understood.
- Supporting students 1:1 with their A-Level English coursework using the skills I obtained from studying at university.
- Experience providing 1:1 support at KS1 level with Numeracy, Literacy and Phonics.

I am a fun, energetic individual with a passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential. Currently, I am a teaching assistant and hope to start my teacher training qualification in the near future. My teaching style is patient, methodical and engaging and I am able to adapt to your learning style. Whether it be extra tutoring on a subject or assisting with homework and assignments, I will provide my students with the right tools to succeed.
My classes will focus around understanding, first and foremost as I find just being to regurgitate information is not an indicator of understanding. My aim is to help students be able to apply the knowledge they learn to almost any circumstance, so they are prepared for any eventuality in an exam or assessment. I aim to build a rapport with students and a sense of trust while also ensuring that my lessons are fun and engaging, not just going through a formula or template.
