After completing five years of study within the Bachelor’s Degree in Music- Voice Performance program at Carleton University, Ottawa, where she specialized in jazz, soul, and classical voice, showcasing her extensive training in vocal technique.
Crystalena also holds a distinguished professional certificate for Registered Vocal Teachers, from the Berklee Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. This certification is a testament to her specialized training in vocal health and technique, particularly tailored for contemporary, jazz, and music theatre studies, with a notable emphasis on speech pathology.
