About
I am a patient, supportive, and understanding tutor with a passion for helping children grow in confidence with English. As a previously homeschooled student, I understand that learning can sometimes feel challenging, especially when a child is struggling to keep up or feeling discouraged.
I personally struggled with English myself and had to work hard to improve my skills through independent learning and dedication. Through teaching myself and staying determined, I successfully achieved a Grade 7 in my English GCSE. This experience helped me develop patience, resilience, and a better understanding of how to support students who may be finding English difficult.
I am passionate about encouraging younger children and helping them feel more confident in their reading, writing, spelling, and comprehension skills. I aim to create a calm, positive, and supportive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My lessons are friendly, patient, and supportive, helping children feel more confident and comfortable while learning English. I can help with reading, spelling, grammar, comprehension, homework, and creative writing for primary school students.
I understand that every child learns at a different pace, so I always aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence.
Lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs and can include reading practice, writing activities, spelling support, and help with schoolwork or SATs preparation. I aim to make learning engaging and enjoyable while supporting children in improving their English skills step by step.
