About Devon
I’m a creative, passionate and driven individual with a background in theatre and the arts.
I found myself working in a school after the pandemic and took to it like a duck to water. It became something that gave me purpose and allowed me to apply my transferable skills to.
Some fun facts about me are:
I love my music, anything from rap, reggae, 80s disco plus everything in between 🪩
I’m an avid player of chess and love to challenge friends and my students ♟️️️
I’m a massive sports fan, whether that’s playing or watching. Football is my main sport and my favourite team is Arsenal (Tottenham fans welcome lol) ️
I am currently planning my future to start a masters in speech and language therapy with the aim of becoming a qualified speech and language therapist.
I really enjoy helping children and seeing them succeed no matter how small or big the success is!

I love getting to know my students so I know what makes them tick!
I specialise I phonetics from the basics of phonics sounds all the way through to phase 5.
I can also help with reading. If you are a parent with EAL (English as an additional language) and struggle to read at home with you child, then I can guarantee I can make the difference.
