I am a "Creative Reading, Writing and Math Tutor" with well over 40 years of experience. One of my favorite ways to teach Math, is with a piece of paper and the minds of the pupils. I found out that when I use everyone as the problem, everyone receives visuals of what they have learned and continue to grow and thrive. I begin each student with the symbols of Algebra then teach them how to read showing similarities. Example: Reading = A "Word Problem" Students = symbols, parenthesis, prime numbers etc. Fractions = money.
