About Natalie
Hi!
My name is Natalie and I have recently completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. I studied Philosophy at undergraduate level before going on to obtain a commendation on the Graduate Diploma in Law.
Philosophy and law are academically rigorous subjects with concepts that can be difficult to grasp. At university I worked as a mentor advising philosophy students on the subject and ways to approach the course. I have worked in various voluntary and professional roles which require me to explain the law to members of the general public. I work well with different people and I am able to explain difficult concepts in a way that is concise and easy to understand.
I start work next year as a trainee in a top 50 UK law firm. I have worked at law firms prior to starting, and throughout my legal studies. This has given me the commercial perspective necessary to succeed on professional legal courses such as the GDL and LPC. I understand the application process for training contracts is highly competitive and can help you to identify the skills and experience you have that will be attractive to a commercial firm.
