About Julia
I'm a computer engineer with 5 years of experience in game development. I have experience creating full games in Unity - everything from gameplay programming, animation, 3D modeling in Blender, level design, pixel art, music & sound effects, simple AI systems, and more. I've created and published many of my own games, and am actively involved in the independent game community. I also created a YouTube channel surrounding video game development, where I share tutorials & guidance on creating games. As an artist & painter, I understand the design and creative aspects of game development. We can also work on marketing, media, branding, and how to promote your game. I can also guide with video editing & the entire YouTube process around game development and sharing devlogs. Since most of my work has been self-directed, I have developed many tools and processes for freelance and independent work, as well as positions in startup companies & entrepreneurial ventures.

Let's make amazing things together! Learn to make games, art, animation, and even basic modelling all on your own. Dip your toes in all aspects of development, from back end to front end, algorithms to design.
In our lessons we can work on your own projects, learning everything from efficient programming to deep debugging techniques. All aspects of game development are covered, including animation, basic modelling, level & environment design, sound effects, and game mechanics in both 2D and 3D worlds Together we can solve problems and create worlds in a way where every lesson gives us new tools that we can continue to use in the future.
If you have no project to work on, no problem! We can create one together in the realm of your choice. I can give programming problems that focuses on learning a specific tool and give you some time to create your process. All the work will be in your hands as you walk through the steps of design to delivery, and I will guide wherever I can.
If you're interested in more of an artistic and design focus in your work, I can show you how to design a beautiful assets and bring it to life in your game.
These lessons are for all aged learners, from children to aged tinkerers who want to learn a new skill!

Deadly! Julia as an very open and humane approach, she is interested in what you wants to achieve, already gave very good advices and teaches me great tips. I highly recommend her.
Deadly! Julia was very timely in both responding to the tutoring request and booking time with my son. She took time to review the assignment ahead of the lesson to prepare and quickly helped my son understand and get the assignment done.
